We are based in Silverdale, Auckland,

We service the entire Auckland Region, as well as the far North such as Kerikeri all the way down to as far South as Wellington... though we have travelled much further North and South :)

We offer a Hanging Service which includes... Artworks, Mirrors, Photographs, Clocks, Shelves, Tools, TV Mounts, Ornaments, Figurines, Sports Equipment, Clotheslines, Pot Plants, Ceiling Mounts and much, much more!

IF IT HANGS... WE HANG IT!

We charge $125 per hour, plus consumables, plus GST. There may be a Travel Fee depending on your area.

Please note that if paid parking is required it will be added to the invoice.

There is a One Hour Minimum and after that we charge per 15 mins. 
All Estimates are valid for 30 days.

The easiest way to book is to send through an email with all your details...

Name, Address, Phone Number and preferred Days and Times for your booking.

Also be sure to add what you are wanting hung... 

Mirrors, Artwork, Family Photos, Ornaments, Floating Shelves etc... and an idea of how many items.

This will allow us to ensure the most accurate estimate.

Alternatively, you could give us a call and we can discuss your needs and requirements.

After the job is complete, we are able to work out the exact cost of the job and will then send you an invoice via email.

Please note that all invoices are due the same day as the completion of the job unless by prior arrangement.

Yes! We are able to transport items both Small and Large... Artworks, Mirrors, Gallery Systems, TVs, Kitsets, etc...

from the supplier to your doorstep. We can also install the item once we are at your home or place of business.

The Picture Hanging Guy has been Hangin' since 2012. My Wife and I own a Picture Framing Studio and Gallery and many customers would ask us if we could hang their Artwork for them. We then realised that there was a real need for a quality hanging service, and so The Picture Hanging Guy was born!

Prior to The Picture Hanging Guy there were many years of experience in the Picture Framing industry and in Digital Design Work, Branding, Logo Design, Business Cards, Websites etc... so you could say I have an eye for colours, arrangements and details.

This all depends on what is to be hung, and how many items you would like to hang. Generally though, about 6-8 standard pieces can be hung per hour, depending on what is needed. A heavy item may take 3o mins and a really heavy item could take an hour. Every job is different, so there is no exact answer.

The more info we have, the more accurate we can be when Estimating your job.

This depends on the job. Usually only one will be needed... but if the booking requires it, then there may be two or more needed.

We will be able to let you know upon your booking.

You do not need to supply anything :)

We supply all the tools, ladders, nails, screws, hooks and bits 'n' pieces needed for all jobs.

Yes we can do the job when you are not home. However, it is best if you are there to show us where you would like everything to go before leaving us to work our magic! Ultimately though, it is best if you are able to be there throughout the job just incase any adjustments are needed.

Yes, absolutely! This is very much part of the job.

There is a lot to consider when placing Art, such as aesthetic lines, lighting, other art in the room or even where furniture is placed. However, It's great if you have an idea of where you would like your Artwork to be placed to get us started.

Yes and No. Hanging an item into a stud is always going to be stronger than just Hanging into a Gib wall. However, modern hanging systems are quite incredible! These days you can hang very heavy pieces from a Gib wall as long as you have the right tools and fittings to ensure it stays on the wall!

Yes we can! Concrete, Block, Brick, Gib and Wood are very common walls to install Artwork. Tiles are probably the trickiest type of wall to install mirrors etc. You need very special tools. Though we can install on Tiles walls...

I would recommend a Tiler as they are the experts when it comes to Tiles and have the specific tools needed.
